After 7 minutes, Laurence Finn made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. MacKay AFC's Ariel Ruth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of MacKay AFC booed when SC Dillon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelly Boggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to MacKay AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Marion Woody hit a great ball. When Kelly Boggs came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SC Dillon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kelly Boggs couldn't finish the play. In the 20th match minute, MacKay AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antony Bowman to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Ruth made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Sylvain Patel sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, SC Dillon's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Cantrell came free, but Shon Vinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddie Spencer's late challenge caught a SC Dillon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddie Spencer helped the player get up and apologised. Freddie Spencer kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With his leg Ariel Ruth managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when SC Dillon's Laurence Finn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ian Cantrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shon Vinson having to interfere. When Laurence Finn came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the SC Dillon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurence Finn couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laurence Finn to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Laurence Finn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ian Cantrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Laurence Finn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Ruth was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deon Goss during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes SC Dillon got a freekick which was hit by Deon Goss. Shon Vinson made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Marion Woody sent off a good shot on target. After 70 played minutes MacKay AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan McKinley. 71 minutes into the match, MacKay AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Roy came free, but Ariel Ruth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Cantrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Shon Vinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bobbie Gagne charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bobbie Gagne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of SC Dillon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MacKay AFC:s goal. SC Dillon:s Shon Vinson showed great skill when he stopped Gail Jimenez:s penalty. 81 minutes into the match, Gail Jimenez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shon Vinson. SC Dillon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gail Jimenez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in MacKay AFC's zone, Laurence Finn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Ruth came out of the goal and Laurence Finn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deon Goss kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
