The corner ended in Bryce Deleon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clairmont AFC's Hector Wray did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brad Lyles was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Fidel Bailey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brad Lyles got free with Alfred McKay in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clint Trevino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitchel Richmond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Wray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Clint Trevino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfonso Davis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clint Trevino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tad Sherrill kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Tad Sherrill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Mitchel Richmond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Wray was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 79 minutes into the game, Hilton Velez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alfonso Davis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clairmont AFC the free kick. After 79 played minutes Alfonso Davis FC got a freekick which was hit by Hilton Velez. With a little luck, Alfonso Davis FC's Alfred McKay got control of the ball when Robert Bermudez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clint Trevino struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Hector Wray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfonso Davis FC. Kim Tobin kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Hilton Velez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hector Wray. Clairmont AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Kim Tobin fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clairmont AFC's protests and gave Kim Tobin a yellow card for diving instead. Kim Tobin kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Alfonso Davis FC's Fidel Bailey managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Denis Chu in the 89 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Clairmont AFC's zone, Clint Trevino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Wray came out of the goal and Clint Trevino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Wray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchel Richmond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Alfonso Davis FC were the better team. Alfonso Davis FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
