Florentino Gingras who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Timmy Joseph when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olivier Parra in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricky Bowden saved Mancity Blues from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Trey Loiselle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mancity Blues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beverly FC the free kick. Trey Loiselle kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ricky Bowden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Parra in the 21st minute of play. Ricky Bowden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Parra, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd minute, Olivier Parra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricky Bowden was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Beverly FC's Jonah Rubio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Trey Loiselle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mancity Blues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trey Loiselle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Chi Lovett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute of the match, Trey Loiselle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Timmy Joseph was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guillaume Henrichon's late challenge caught a Mancity Blues's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillaume Henrichon helped the player get up and apologised. Herschel Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th match minute, Mancity Blues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Poissonnier to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philbert Oconnell was the one to do the kick off. Florentino Gingras scored 2-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timmy Joseph, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philbert Oconnell in the 63rd minute of play forced Beverly FC's goalkeeper Timmy Joseph to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Herschel Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beverly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herschel Louis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 played minutes Mancity Blues got a freekick which was hit by Lyman Lin. Philbert Oconnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Joseph having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Beverly FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mancity Blues.
