Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Shannon McKinnon made the kick off which started today's match. Hugues LaCaille's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedict King read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Eli Howe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vauquelin CN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Hugues LaCaille scored to the left of an out of position Benedict King, making the score, 2-0. After 17 played minutes Hugues LaCaille rounded Vauquelin CN's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 21st minute Oren Lin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Royce Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Eli Howe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedict King saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedict King showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eli Howe, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Eli Howe notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Vauquelin CN's Benedict King. Benedict King was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Liberty FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Luís Paulo Abreu hit a great ball. Benedict King made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Troy Giguère sent off a good shot on target. Vauquelin CN's Benedict King played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eli Howe in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugues LaCaille was the one to do the kick off. Benedict King came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Liberty FC's Hugues LaCaille. But to his dismay, Hugues LaCaille quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Lou Bergman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Royce Ortega made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Liberty FC's Luís Paulo Abreu got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Hugues LaCaille's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedict King read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Vauquelin CN got a freekick which was hit by Wally Boles. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Hugues LaCaille sped through Vauquelin CN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benedict King. After 86 minutes, Lou Bergman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vauquelin CN and the Liberty FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vauquelin CN getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Lou Bergman hit a great ball. After 87 minutes, Hugues LaCaille made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vauquelin CN's Benedict King tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Liberty FC's goalkeeper Royce Ortega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Granville Askew. If Jamison Beatty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Liberty FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vauquelin CN had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
