Spectators: 8491 (Terracing: 6356, Seating: 1966, VIP seats: 169) Lorenzo Parmentier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Elma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Bowden in the 6th minute. The corner led Elma's Martin Bowden to fire away a dangerous shot which Wally Delgado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Hurricanes FC booed when Elma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmo Edwards didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Sherman Friedman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Mathieu skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonia Merrill in the 9th minute of play forced Elma's goalkeeper Roger Mathieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Valentine Harrington came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hurricanes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentine Harrington couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes Hurricanes FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonia Merrill. Hurricanes FC's Wally Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Parmentier in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Elma's goalkeeper Roger Mathieu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentine Harrington. Florence Marin charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florence Marin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florence Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Bowden came free, but Wally Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Antonia Merrill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Elma fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Roger Mathieu, was totally fooled by Hurricanes FC's Elwood Keys, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Valentine Harrington's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Roger Mathieu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elmo Edwards kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Antonia Merrill reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roger Mathieu. The goal made the score 3-0. Roger Mathieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonia Merrill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Mathieu made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Valentine Harrington sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the game, Valentine Harrington recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roger Mathieu. Valentine Harrington showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Hurricanes FC's Florence Marin got a free kick in the 39th minute. Elma's Roger Mathieu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Elma from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the game, Sal Calloway was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hurricanes FC the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Sal Calloway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Glen Dickson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Hurricanes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glen Dickson couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Roger Mathieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles McKinney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Mathieu came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hurricanes FC's Valentine Harrington. But to his dismay, Valentine Harrington quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Lorenzo Parmentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wally Delgado having to interfere. Roger Mathieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentine Harrington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Hurricanes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonia Merrill to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Martin Bowden from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Wally Delgado's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 70 played minutes Elma got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Chung. Elwood Keys struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Roger Mathieu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurricanes FC. In the 76thth minute of the game Valentine Harrington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elma's Roger Mathieu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wally Delgado made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Lorenzo Parmentier sent off a good shot on target. Lorenzo Parmentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wally Delgado having to interfere. Valentine Harrington kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Hurricanes FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Glen Dickson hit a great ball. Glen Dickson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Mathieu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. When Hurricanes FC's Valentine Harrington in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elma's goalie prevented a goal. Roger Mathieu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentine Harrington in the 98th minute of play. Hurricanes FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
