Seating: 251, VIP seats: 25) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Derek Weston took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Leroy Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maynard Boone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Fernando Strong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maynard Boone. Judah's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Strong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 10 minutes of play, River Plate Mtl's Fernando Strong made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maynard Boone was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, River Plate Mtl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derek Weston to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Teodoro Barger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maynard Boone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 21 minutes into the game, Ross Patten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate Mtl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Judah the free kick. Maynard Boone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Weston in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Fernando Strong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maynard Boone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Derek Weston ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maynard Boone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 31st minute, Derek Weston ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maynard Boone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Teodoro Barger scored 0-6 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maynard Boone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 37 minutes of play, River Plate Mtl's Derek Weston made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maynard Boone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maynard Boone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leroy Dalton scored 0-8 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maynard Boone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leroy Dalton kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Mason to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Weston in the 52nd minute of play forced Judah's goalkeeper Maynard Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rocky Ratliff during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Judah's Rocky Ratliff got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Fernando Strong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Judah's Maynard Boone got control of the ball when Leroy Dalton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Derek Weston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maynard Boone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Judah booed when River Plate Mtl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Barger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Rocky Ratliff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Judah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rocky Ratliff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Judah's Maynard Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Strong in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leroy Dalton got free with Maynard Boone in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the game, River Plate Mtl's Derek Weston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maynard Boone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. When Ross Patten was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, River Plate Mtl's Ross Patten got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Judah booed when River Plate Mtl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derek Weston didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Weston in the 91st minute of play forced Judah's goalkeeper Maynard Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maynard Boone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derek Weston, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. River Plate Mtl's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
