Róbert Horváth kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Hong Flaherty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Bowden in the 3rd minute of the match. Róbert Horváth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Roger Mathieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mississauga Blue Devils's Hong Flaherty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Bowden in the 7th minute of play. Anderson Durepos kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 10 minutes, Noah McCain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mississauga Blue Devils and the Glenannan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roger Mathieu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Mississauga Blue Devils's Martin Oliverios. But to his dismay, Martin Oliverios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hong Flaherty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francis Bourque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Roger Mathieu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A nice corner shot did that Heriberto Sorenson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roger Mathieu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hong Flaherty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Chung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mississauga Blue Devils's Martin Oliverios slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roger Mathieu. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. Martin Bowden struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Hong Flaherty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenannan FC. The supporters of Mississauga Blue Devils booed when Glenannan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmo Edwards didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Oliverios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger Mathieu came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Oliverios slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Glenannan FC's Blake Rochefort got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Mississauga Blue Devils's Anderson Durepos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Mathieu. Roger Mathieu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Oliverios to make the kick off. If Martin Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 52 minutes into the match, Róbert Horváth notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Glenannan FC's Roger Mathieu. Roger Mathieu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Glenannan FC's Elmo Edwards got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Mississauga Blue Devils's Almir da Silva got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francis Bourque in the 65th minute of play forced Mississauga Blue Devils's goalkeeper Hong Flaherty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sal Calloway fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glenannan FC's protests and gave Sal Calloway a yellow card for diving instead. Sal Calloway hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Glenannan FC defense, Martin Oliverios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Mathieu. The Glenannan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Mathieu should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Róbert Horváth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Mathieu was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After 87 minutes of play, Mississauga Blue Devils's Róbert Horváth made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Mathieu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th match minute, Glenannan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blake Rochefort to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mississauga Blue Devils fans cheered their team off the field, for while Glenannan FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
