Spectators: 8485 (Terracing: 6365, Seating: 1951, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Granville Askew started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Franklin Dobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Boileau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Grimard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedict King read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Granville Askew took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryant Boileau. Bryant Boileau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bryant Boileau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Granville Askew in the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Vauquelin CN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irvin Post to maneuver through the defense. Bryant Boileau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Dobson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Michel Grimard could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Benedict King however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Edgington AFC defense, Franklin Dobson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bryant Boileau. The Edgington AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bryant Boileau should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Grimard got free with Benedict King in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th match minute, Vauquelin CN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lou Bergman to maneuver through the defense. If Simon Goodson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Vauquelin CN were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Goodson was the one to do the kick off. Michel Grimard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benedict King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lou Bergman charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lou Bergman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lou Bergman hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vauquelin CN's Granville Askew slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bryant Boileau. That made the score 0-3 after 59 minutes of play. Granville Askew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Granville Askew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bryant Boileau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgington AFC's Bryant Boileau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Edgington AFC from getting a goal against them. After 78 played minutes Edgington AFC got a freekick which was hit by King Loiseau. Domingo Queen charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingo Queen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingo Queen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vauquelin CN's Marc Larivière got a free kick in the 86th minute. Franklin Dobson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bryant Boileau firmly grabbed it by the left post. Franklin Dobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bryant Boileau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
