Carlos Arsenault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonia Merrill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes Hurricanes FC got a freekick which was hit by Buford Epperson. Antonia Merrill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Carlos Arsenault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the River Plate Mtl defense, Glen Dickson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Arsenault. The River Plate Mtl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Arsenault should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Maxwell Eddy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Arsenault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Arsenault made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Glen Dickson sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Arsenault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glen Dickson in the 19th minute of play. Carlos Arsenault made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Richarlison de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Richarlison de Andrade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Arsenault when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mckinley Dufresne hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes, Derek Weston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate Mtl and the Hurricanes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Derek Weston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Arsenault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonia Merrill in the 46th minute of the match. River Plate Mtl's Carlos Arsenault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonia Merrill in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51stth minute of the game Richarlison de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate Mtl's Carlos Arsenault was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, River Plate Mtl's Ross Patten got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Maxwell Eddy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Arsenault didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richarlison de Andrade went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Carlos Arsenault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonia Merrill in the 61st minute of play. River Plate Mtl's Carlos Arsenault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüştü Kadim in the 64th minute of play. Richarlison de Andrade scored 6-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Arsenault, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, River Plate Mtl's goal looked a bit too open when Maxwell Eddy came free, but Carlos Arsenault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mckinley Dufresne's late challenge caught a River Plate Mtl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mckinley Dufresne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Mckinley Dufresne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River Plate Mtl's Carlos Arsenault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonia Merrill in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Hurricanes FC's Mckinley Dufresne made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Arsenault was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Rüştü Kadim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hurricanes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Beau Mercier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. River Plate Mtl were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Hurricanes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teodoro Barger took the corner. Carlos Arsenault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brock Yarbrough in the 86th minute of the match. Buford Epperson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hurricanes FC fully deserved thier win.
