Nova Scotias Finest's Xavier Webb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Scotias Finest from getting a goal against them. Gordon Dean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Sellers in the 17th minute of play. Tomas Robertson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Sayabec got a freekick which was hit by Anton Hackett. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Adolphe Tipton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sayabec's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolphe Tipton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Webb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xavier Webb, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Adolphe Tipton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavier Webb was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Merlin Sellers notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sayabec's Gordon Dean. Gordon Dean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 41 minutes, Adolphe Tipton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sayabec and the Nova Scotias Finest players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nova Scotias Finest booed when Sayabec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolphe Tipton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Merlin Sellers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gordon Dean was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Adolphe Tipton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Webb having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Moyer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Scotias Finest's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sayabec the free kick. After some careless play in the Nova Scotias Finest defense, Adolphe Tipton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavier Webb. The Nova Scotias Finest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavier Webb should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sayabec had played much better football throughout.
