Blue Jays SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucien Rivière was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. XENON FC's Edmond Cleveland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save XENON FC from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Zackary Faucher put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Blue Jays SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Dexter Duke had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Bret Marrero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 46 played minutes Blue Jays SC got a freekick which was hit by Kim Louis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bret Marrero in the 47th minute of play forced Blue Jays SC's goalkeeper Dexter Duke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Blue Jays SC's goalkeeper Dexter Duke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucien Rivière. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The XENON FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when XENON FC's Lucien Rivière looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lucien Rivière succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Lucien Rivière's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Dexter Duke skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bret Marrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dexter Duke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dexter Duke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bret Marrero in the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Bret Marrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XENON FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bret Marrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucien Rivière who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Dexter Duke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucien Rivière sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Blue Jays SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. XENON FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
