The referee ignored Maxstone's protests and gave Romeo Winter a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Maxstone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Winter to maneuver through the defense. Jerrold Cutler made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Valentin Xiong sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Maxstone's zone, Valentin Xiong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrold Cutler came out of the goal and Valentin Xiong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 minutes of play Maxstone's Erick Lundy was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Maxstone getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Erick Lundy hit a great ball. After 95 minutes of play, Mississauga DareDevils's Stig-Ove Alebeck made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerrold Cutler was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Mississauga DareDevils left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maxstone.
