Spectators: 8423 (Terracing: 6318, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 168) Quintin Browning started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Donte Rancourt came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Finnegan FC's Chadwick Doherty. But to his dismay, Chadwick Doherty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 10 minutes of play, Finnegan FC's Quintin Browning made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donte Rancourt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dean Benedict fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Jöhl having to interfere. Dean Benedict's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Fabio Jöhl skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Dean Benedict had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintin Browning in the 25th minute of play forced FC Furious's goalkeeper Donte Rancourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bennie Kenny hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Finnegan FC's Quintin Browning nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donte Rancourt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Furious's goalkeeper Donte Rancourt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Chadwick Doherty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donte Rancourt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Chadwick Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Furious's zone, Chadwick Doherty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donte Rancourt came out of the goal and Chadwick Doherty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steven Livingston to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC Furious's Donte Rancourt got control of the ball when Chadwick Doherty tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute Quintin Browning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donte Rancourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donte Rancourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintin Browning in the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Finnegan FC booed when FC Furious was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bennie Kenny didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Quintin Browning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donte Rancourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Chadwick Doherty cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Donte Rancourt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The FC Furious fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Finnegan FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
