In the 21st match minute, FARGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alec Munson to maneuver through the defense. FC Mercier-Est's Ignace Bailey got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severiano Gaizko was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in FARGO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Jayson Ham took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Célestin Babcock to make any attempt to save it. FC Mercier-Est's Manuel Medeleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billie Busch in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to FARGO getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Maximilien Duff hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignace Bailey in the 33rd minute of play forced FARGO's goalkeeper Célestin Babcock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, FC Mercier-Est's Jayson Ham ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Célestin Babcock. Célestin Babcock yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Célestin Babcock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignace Bailey in the 43rd minute of the match. Célestin Babcock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jayson Ham in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Jayson Ham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Célestin Babcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignace Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Billie Busch in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Medeleanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the FARGO defense, Thommy Vuerinx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Célestin Babcock. The FARGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Célestin Babcock should have stopped the shot. Ignace Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Célestin Babcock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Costandache in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of FC Mercier-Est booed when FARGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felton Biggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes, FC Mercier-Est's Ludomil Trzaskoma shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Célestin Babcock came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Mercier-Est reached it. Célestin Babcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thommy Vuerinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, FARGO's goal looked a bit too open when Jayson Ham came free, but Célestin Babcock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Laurențiu Costandache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Mercier-Est fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Maximilien Duff kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ignace Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Célestin Babcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jayson Ham might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Célestin Babcock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Célestin Babcock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jayson Ham in the 81st minute of the match. Célestin Babcock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thommy Vuerinx went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute Thommy Vuerinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célestin Babcock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célestin Babcock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurențiu Costandache went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Célestin Babcock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Costandache in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Ignace Bailey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Mercier-Est fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0.
