The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerrell Lunsford got free with Houston Brand in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the game, Teddy Curry recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Houston Brand. Teddy Curry showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, AKD Black Gold's goalkeeper Houston Brand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerrell Lunsford. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Dudley got free with Houston Brand in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Houston Brand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Holbrook in the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 minutes, Edison Bertrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKD Black Gold and the CANDO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AKD Black Gold's Edison Bertrand got a free kick in the 24th minute. CANDO's Andres Bishop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryon Dodson in the 28th minute of play. Bryon Dodson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres Bishop having to make a save. In the 30thth minute of the game Alton Pepper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CANDO's Andres Bishop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Alton Pepper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Bishop was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 38 minutes of play, CANDO's Jerrell Lunsford made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Houston Brand was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teddy Curry was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, CANDO's Teddy Curry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Houston Brand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Teddy Curry sped through AKD Black Gold's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Houston Brand. Houston Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrell Lunsford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CANDO's Genaro Dudley got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to CANDO getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Genaro Dudley hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Dudley in the 77th minute of play forced AKD Black Gold's goalkeeper Houston Brand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AKD Black Gold's Coy Sellers got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Alton Pepper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Andres Bishop made a huge save. Alton Pepper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Curry in the 95th minute of play forced AKD Black Gold's goalkeeper Houston Brand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the AKD Black Gold players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CANDO.
