Charly Beaud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Charly Beaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Kitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jake Kitchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brooks Hagen in the 10th minute of play. Jake Kitchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brooks Hagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Mitch Browne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Caron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jake Kitchen made a huge save. Jake Kitchen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charly Beaud in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute Carlton Davignon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Kitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Combs kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Moose FC got a freekick which was hit by Stan Carrasco. 33 minutes into the match, Moose FC's goalkeeper Jake Kitchen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laverne Wesley. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Beaud in the 37th minute of play forced Moose FC's goalkeeper Jake Kitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Summerland FC's Jorne Volders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Weiss in the 38th minute of play.

Summerland FC's Heinrich Augsburg was substituted for Marcos Caron. Summerland FC made a substitution. Théodore Ménard replaced Carlton Davignon. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mitch Marleau to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Summerland FC's zone, Dwayne Casey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorne Volders came out of the goal and Dwayne Casey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Summerland FC were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Moose FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laverne Wesley took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Beaud in the 60th minute of play forced Moose FC's goalkeeper Jake Kitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Summerland FC booed when Moose FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Ogden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Mitch Marleau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorne Volders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Moose FC's Jorne Volders threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Earle Hollis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 73rd minute Charly Beaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Kitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Charly Beaud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jake Kitchen was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Mitch Marleau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorne Volders having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Laverne Wesley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Summerland FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
