Quentin Kendrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Goudreau in the 4th minute of the match. Varennes's Gilberto Boone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Varennes from getting a goal against them. After 12 minutes Varennes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Curt Weyermann who took care of the corner kick. In the 15th minute Vadim Shiryaev suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Fly T.T's Rhett Merchant was substituted for Vadim Shiryaev. After a rather tough play, Varennes's Donovan Nash got a free kick in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertrand Glass got free with Gilberto Boone in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Fly T.T getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Thibault Lane hit a great ball. Varennes's Seth Luke got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bertrand Glass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bertrand Glass might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Boone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertrand Glass ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Quentin Kendrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Odonnell, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertrand Glass got free with Gilberto Boone in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Fly T.T defense, Maurice Odonnell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quentin Kendrick. The Fly T.T fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quentin Kendrick should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Goudreau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quentin Kendrick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Franciszek Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Boone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wendell Petit hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Gilberto Boone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rhett Merchant in the 47th minute. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Varennes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Curt Weyermann was slow to take the kick. During this time Fly T.T's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Curt Weyermann almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Varennes's Gilberto Boone did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurice Odonnell to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Maurice Odonnell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fly T.T's Quentin Kendrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quentin Kendrick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Goudreau went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fly T.T's Quentin Kendrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Goudreau in the 57th minute of play. Franciszek Kopacz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Boone having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Bertrand Glass left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fly T.T fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Varennes's Titus Pineda was substituted for Bernardo Goudreau. In the 67th match minute, Fly T.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertrand Glass to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute of the match Fly T.T got a corner. Varennes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Curt Weyermann ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rhett Merchant made a great header on Fly T.T's corner, it was just that Varennes's Gilberto Boone managed to reach the ball for a save. The Fly T.T fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Fly T.T's Rhett Merchant looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilberto Boone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertrand Glass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes of play, Varennes's Titus Pineda made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quentin Kendrick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quentin Kendrick made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Seth Luke sent off a good shot on target. After 86 played minutes Varennes got a freekick which was hit by Maurice Odonnell. Donovan Nash kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Bertrand Glass left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fly T.T fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Thanks to some nice moves Maurice Odonnell could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Quentin Kendrick however easily saved by the left post. In the 93rd minute, Titus Pineda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertrand Glass in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Boone saved Varennes from getting behind. Varennes were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
