After 13 played minutes CS Impact de Montreal got a freekick which was hit by Diego Herrington. With a little luck, CS Impact de Montreal's Anton Lamothe got control of the ball when Laverne Wesley tried to sneak it across the goal line. CS Impact de Montreal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Brooks Hagen 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Anton Lamothe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlton Davignon in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 10-0 at half-time.

Summerland FC's Heinrich Augsburg was substituted for Marcos Caron. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustus Combs to make the kick off. Augustus Combs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorne Volders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Laverne Wesley struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Anton Lamothe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Summerland FC. CS Impact de Montreal's Elbert McNally was substituted for Marc Carlson. In the 60th match minute, CS Impact de Montreal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josh Glenn to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Charly Beaud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Lamothe. CS Impact de Montreal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charly Beaud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. 64 minutes into the game, Brooks Hagen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of CS Impact de Montreal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Summerland FC:s goal. 79 minutes into the game, Brooks Hagen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Anton Lamothe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute Lyndon Schaffer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Lamothe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Lamothe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Théodore Ménard went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. Théodore Ménard took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Lamothe. Anton Lamothe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. Summerland FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
