The crowd rose to their feet as Jagiellonia Denver's Michal Majdoch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kirk Lafond. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antwan Gallagher in the 13th minute of play. Michal Majdoch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, DOE FC's goal looked a bit too open when 蔡伟洲 came free, but Kirk Lafond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jagiellonia Denver's Domenic Marsh managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yann McKinney in the 27 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by 蔡伟洲 in the 29th minute of play forced DOE FC's goalkeeper Kirk Lafond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antwan Gallagher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eric Gary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Brochu in the 38th minute of the match. Alain Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antwan Gallagher made a kick off. If Antwan Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Jagiellonia Denver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sun Lin to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, DOE FC's Tyler Bowser broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. David Brochu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Michal Majdoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirk Lafond having to interfere. Michal Majdoch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Olof Åkesson struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Kirk Lafond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagiellonia Denver. Jagiellonia Denver's Nicholas Kimble was substituted for Domenic Marsh. David Brochu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. DOE FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jagiellonia Denver made a substitution. Rodrigo Chap replaced Nicolae Costa. After a rather tough play, DOE FC's Yann McKinney got a free kick in the 75th minute. Kirk Lafond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Olof Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 蔡伟洲 in the 81st minute of play forced DOE FC's goalkeeper Kirk Lafond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marquis Frank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eric Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antwan Gallagher, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Russel London in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kirk Lafond saved DOE FC from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Jagiellonia Denver players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
