SK8 4 lif3's Renan Paes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ernesto Nafarroa, made in the 10th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, SK8 4 lif3's goalkeeper János Gerencsér had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fatsali Bedirhan. János Gerencsér made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Gavino Aguirre sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Toronto Marlies FC were awarded a corner. Qin Xing Shu went to the cornerflag to take it. Gino Goldstein made a great header on Toronto Marlies FC's corner, it was just that SK8 4 lif3's János Gerencsér managed to reach the ball for a save. Anfilogino Amicone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manga Joó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SK8 4 lif3's János Gerencsér proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save SK8 4 lif3 from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Tuan Reynolds in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Toronto Marlies FC's Ernesto Nafarroa. After a rather tough play, SK8 4 lif3's Jamaal Hill got a free kick in the 36th minute. János Gerencsér made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Aguirre in the 41st minute of play. When SK8 4 lif3's Gino Norbert in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toronto Marlies FC's goalie prevented a goal.

The wind increased when Gavino Aguirre made the kick off in the second half. Manga Joó struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Anfilogino Amicone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK8 4 lif3. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK8 4 lif3's goalkeeper János Gerencsér, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Toronto Marlies FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Qin Xing Shu in the 70th minute. Ernesto Nafarroa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 71st match minute, SK8 4 lif3 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manga Joó to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes SK8 4 lif3 got a freekick which was hit by Manga Joó. János Gerencsér didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Aguirre went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Mattson in the 81st minute of play. Benny Aubé hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Toronto Marlies FC's Fredrick Abrams was substituted for Gavino Aguirre. After a rather tough play, SK8 4 lif3's Benny Aubé got a free kick in the 87th minute. SK8 4 lif3's János Gerencsér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrick Abrams in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Fredrick Abrams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Gerencsér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK8 4 lif3's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
