Herb Good made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Lopes in the 51st minute of play. After 54 played minutes Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Du Lei Bin. Flames FC's Tao Xi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Zgabei in the 57th minute of play. Tao Xi was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Emilian Zgabei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emilian Zgabei really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Emilian Zgabei got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Jacinto Vela took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Tao Xi to make any attempt to save it. 80 minutes into the match, Flames FC's Camille Trudeau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herb Good narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tao Xi came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Emilian Zgabei. But to his dismay, Emilian Zgabei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 91 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Du Lei Bin came free, but Tao Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sport Lisboa e Benfica were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Flames FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rostyslav Solodkyi took the corner.
