Oriente Petrolero's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Venceslas Alcubierre scored to the left of an out of position Xano Alcantara, making the score, 1-0. Alberto Limofer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batista Negro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Batista Negro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alberto Limofer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venceslas Alcubierre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Xano Alcantara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Liqui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pululupampa's Alberto Limofer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Söderberg in the 23rd minute of play. If Batista Negro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batista Negro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Limofer having to interfere. Alberto Limofer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Pululupampa booed when Oriente Petrolero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batista Negro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Oriente Petrolero's Batista Negro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Limofer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 39 minutes of play, Oriente Petrolero's Batista Negro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Limofer was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Joakim Söderberg put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Alberto Limofer. Venceslas Alcubierre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venceslas Alcubierre to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Söderberg got free with Alberto Limofer in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venceslas Alcubierre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xano Alcantara having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batista Negro in the 61st minute of play forced Pululupampa's goalkeeper Alberto Limofer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tunc Reha struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Alberto Limofer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oriente Petrolero. After having played for 66 minutes, Tunc Reha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oriente Petrolero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tunc Reha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joakim Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Alberto Limofer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oriente Petrolero. Joakim Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alberto Limofer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Joakim Söderberg made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Limofer. Pululupampa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. If Josue Maestro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joakim Söderberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joakim Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Americo Liqui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xano Alcantara having to interfere. Joakim Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Oriente Petrolero's Tunc Reha got a free kick in the 96th minute. Oriente Petrolero played a much better game than Pululupampa and deserved their victory. The Pululupampa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
