Zuhaitz Zubicoeta started the match with the kick off. Galo Goicoolea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Petrigai Rios skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Novillos FC booed when Holyland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darien Carrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Benino Vergas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hanni Lobato skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd minute Zuhaitz Zubicoeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hanni Lobato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holyland's attentive Xzaver Calzon managed to snatch the ball when Lucero Arenillas made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Petrigai Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darien Carrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Holyland's goal looked a bit too open when Zuhaitz Zubicoeta came free, but Hanni Lobato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Galo Goicoolea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petrigai Rios came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Holyland's Galo Goicoolea. But to his dismay, Galo Goicoolea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Petrigai Rios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Galo Goicoolea's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Holyland's Galo Goicoolea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petrigai Rios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucero Arenillas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Abelardo Plata was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Confesor Casado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Darien Carrio came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Holyland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darien Carrio couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Eztebe Comas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hanni Lobato. That made the score 1-1 in the 73 minute of play. Hanni Lobato made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Balendin Balbanea sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Aurelio Sedeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balendin Balbanea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Hanni Lobato made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Novillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Galo Goicoolea came free, but Petrigai Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Novillos FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
