When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peruxu Umaña made a kick off. Carrasco's Ladio Verdejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cortez Socorro in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Itapebi FC's zone, Peruxu Umaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislao Tielve came out of the goal and Peruxu Umaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Saverio Zucunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match Edwardo Carrios shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ladio Verdejo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaskon Ispuzua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladio Verdejo having to interfere. If Cortez Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaskon Ispuzua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ladio Verdejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaskon Ispuzua struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ladio Verdejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapebi FC. Itapebi FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
