Gar Montanez's late challenge caught a Sapangrela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Mogel Soberon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Sapangrela got a freekick which was hit by Shepherd Belorado. In the 43rd minute Duardo Yanez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Fariñas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xzaiver Mecaur was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Barry Irvin put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Xzaiver Mecaur. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sapangrela!
