Barrancas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hanot Majua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mangrullo's Raymundo Ribacoba got a free kick in the 7th minute. Zoil Orue got in the 11th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Nicodemo Carbezo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Angelino Morentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zumar Lerin having to interfere. Isaio Mendieta struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Nicodemo Carbezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrancas. Zumar Lerin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Morentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zumar Lerin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Arijola in the 21st minute of the match. Bruno Arijola kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Bruno Arijola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrancas's Zumar Lerin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zumar Lerin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Arijola went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Zumar Lerin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Morentin in the 40th minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nicodemo Carbezo came out of the goal and Isaio Mendieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Mangrullo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mangrullo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
