Artemio Carriedo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Charro Avedillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charro Avedillo took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Santoval. Roberto Santoval dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Charro Avedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bilintx Sella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charro Avedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Roberto Santoval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Santoval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Rosinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charro Avedillo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charro Avedillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cayetano AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Artemio Carriedo hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Leizarraga Periceira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Santoval skillfully saved the ball. Charro Avedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Santoval having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cayetano AFC's goalkeeper Roberto Santoval, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charro Avedillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Santoval. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charro Avedillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bilintx Sella was the one to do the kick off. Bilintx Sella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Guaberto Menchaca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Charro Avedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Rosinos in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Santoval saved Cayetano AFC from getting behind. Bilintx Sella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Guaberto Menchaca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Rosinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Roberto Santoval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guaberto Menchaca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cayetano AFC's zone, Edgardo Rosinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Santoval came out of the goal and Edgardo Rosinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Charro Avedillo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Franquia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charro Avedillo couldn't finish the play. Edgardo Rosinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Santoval having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Franquia AFC's Charro Avedillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto Santoval. Roberto Santoval yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 88 minutes, Celino Aspe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franquia AFC and the Cayetano AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Celino Aspe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franquia AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
