In the 4th minute Sustrai Lada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Arevalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Varandalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Baroja in the 7th minute of the match. Cardona's Alberto Varandalla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Cardona from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the game, Belvedere Leverkusen's Camilo Lizana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Varandalla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sustrai Lada kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Sustrai Lada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Varandalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Baroja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Baroja got in the 29th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alberto Varandalla handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Alberto Varandalla was a little too slow when Americo Baroja got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Americo Baroja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Cardona getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Medero Romuroso hit a great ball. With his leg Alberto Varandalla managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Belvedere Leverkusen's Camilo Lizana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 38 played minutes Cardona got a freekick which was hit by Lalla Peramato. After 44 played minutes Cardona got a freekick which was hit by Bertran Roales. Polo Robres took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Arevalo. Clodoveo Arevalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Polo Robres to make the kick off. Alberto Varandalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Lizana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Belvedere Leverkusen's Americo Baroja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Varandalla came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Belvedere Leverkusen's Americo Baroja. But to his dismay, Americo Baroja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Alberto Varandalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Baroja in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Polo Robres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardona's supporters rose to their feet, but Polo Robres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Arevalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th match minute, Belvedere Leverkusen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Uruñuela to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Lizana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Varandalla having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Americo Baroja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belvedere Leverkusen's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Baroja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Varandalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Varandalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Lizana in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Camilo Lizana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardona's Alberto Varandalla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The nice shot from Sustrai Lada in the 88thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Clodoveo Arevalo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 96th minute Camilo Lizana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Varandalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belvedere Leverkusen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cardona for a fine match.
