Lavalleja AFC's Arnaldo Basabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogumil Prusek in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Moises Argos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lavalleja AFC's Arnaldo Basabe. Arnaldo Basabe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chonas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Argos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bogumil Prusek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Basabe having to interfere. Moises Argos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Arnaldo Basabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bogumil Prusek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chonas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogumil Prusek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Basabe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Argos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
