When Idacio Gandara fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calera AFC's protests and gave Idacio Gandara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, one of Calera AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calera AFC. The referee gave Carrasco AFC a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Josue Palomarez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Calera AFC's Ospetsu Belda. 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Carrasco AFC's goalkeeper Ondino Barcaiztegui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Sarasola. The supporters of Calera AFC booed when Carrasco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tabb Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Esteve Trincado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrasco AFC's Ondino Barcaiztegui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Ubaldo Sarasola got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gelacio Ciriaca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ondino Barcaiztegui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Calera AFC's zone, Tabb Joseph stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ospetsu Belda came out of the goal and Tabb Joseph tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tabb Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ospetsu Belda having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tabb Joseph in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ospetsu Belda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ondino Barcaiztegui was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cleto Soret. The Calera AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carrasco AFC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Tiburcio Atencio made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tabb Joseph got free with Ospetsu Belda in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 54 minutes, Fermin Piñero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calera AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Piñero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fermin Piñero during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
