Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiburcio Atencio started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andoni Comacho in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ondino Barcaiztegui saved Carrasco AFC from getting behind. Agostinho Sotes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tabb Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carrasco AFC's zone, Andoni Comacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ondino Barcaiztegui came out of the goal and Andoni Comacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andoni Comacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ondino Barcaiztegui having to interfere. Liberto Figueruel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Lapuente's goal looked a bit too open when Tabb Joseph came free, but Agostinho Sotes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carrasco AFC's Salvator Elberdin got a free kick in the 29th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Lauren Naredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapuente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauren Naredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andoni Comacho in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ondino Barcaiztegui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lapuente's Andoni Comacho in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carrasco AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Agostinho Sotes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Atencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andoni Comacho was the one to do the kick off. Lapuente's Agostinho Sotes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Lapuente from getting a goal against them. If Liberto Figueruel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ondino Barcaiztegui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andoni Comacho's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Andoni Comacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ondino Barcaiztegui having to interfere. Liberto Figueruel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Carrasco AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Cerilo Piñango hit a great ball. Ondino Barcaiztegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liberto Figueruel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Andoni Comacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ondino Barcaiztegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Carrasco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andoni Comacho came free, but Ondino Barcaiztegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carrasco AFC's Ondino Barcaiztegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liberto Figueruel in the 91st minute of play. Carrasco AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
