Tiago Lacle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eutropio Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colas Cuello in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiago Lacle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronaldo Aubert. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Xamin Ybarbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlantida's supporters rose to their feet, but Xamin Ybarbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eutropio Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Xamin Ybarbo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eutropio Gonzalez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 35 minutes, Colas Cuello made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Chajá's Eutropio Gonzalez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldo Aubert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Lacle in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Chajá booed when Atlantida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Monteserin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Cesar Llul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiago Lacle struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Diego Ceballo charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Ceballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chajá's Diego Ceballo got a free kick in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Colas Cuello to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Chajá's goalkeeper Eutropio Gonzalez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xamin Ybarbo. Ronaldo Aubert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Llul, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ronaldo Aubert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Llul in the 65th minute of the match. Atlantida's Colas Cuello got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiago Lacle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Reyna hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Xamin Ybarbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlantida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xamin Ybarbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Chajá booed when Atlantida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quique Caroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Chajá's Koldobika Bandera broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Chajá's goal looked a bit too open when Quique Caroso came free, but Eutropio Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Reyna during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
