In the 28th minute Adan Hierro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Padrones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Padrones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adan Hierro went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 32 minutes, Adan Hierro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldecoa FC and the Delaval F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Aldecoa FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Adan Hierro hit a great ball. Aldecoa FC's Gines Aulestia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Aldecoa FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 37 minutes, Ralondo Cangas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aldecoa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralondo Cangas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dino Padrones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Hierro in the 38th minute of the match. Odilon Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gines Aulestia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Hierro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 81st match minute, Delaval F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txerran Palermo to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes Delaval F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Txerran Palermo. A hard shot by Delmar Luis from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Dino Padrones's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Aldecoa FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
