Esteban Colomines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dino Padrones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Gomez Mendaza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Marcones Damar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Padrones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmai Vadillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dino Padrones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guilabertus Borbolla during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Delaval F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilabertus Borbolla to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcones Damar in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Padrones prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Esteban Colomines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Padrones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Colomines, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Gualterio Abad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paysandu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delaval F.C. the free kick. Delaval F.C.'s Odilon Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Marcones Damar made the kick off in the second half. Esteban Colomines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delaval F.C.'s Dino Padrones proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Delaval F.C. from getting a goal against them. Niolaao Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilabertus Borbolla in the 65th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paysandu FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Niolaao Lorenzo came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Delaval F.C.'s Odilon Trigo. But to his dismay, Odilon Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Odilon Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Niolaao Lorenzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gomez Mendaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Colomines struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dino Padrones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paysandu FC. In the 86th match minute, Delaval F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gomez Mendaza to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Esteban Colomines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niolaao Lorenzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Odilon Trigo went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 96 minutes of play, Delaval F.C.'s Odilon Trigo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niolaao Lorenzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Paysandu FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Delaval F.C..
