Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcones Damar kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Olo Rosell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adan Hierro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niolaao Lorenzo having to make a save. After 9 played minutes Paysandu FC got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Abad. Adan Hierro struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Niolaao Lorenzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aldecoa FC. In the 13th minute, Marcones Damar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paysandu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17th minute, Adan Hierro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Paysandu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaizka Chartuni to maneuver through the defense. Adan Hierro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Niolaao Lorenzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niolaao Lorenzo was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Adan Hierro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adan Hierro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Ralondo Cangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gines Aulestia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcones Damar went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Paysandu FC booed when Aldecoa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paublo Casanande didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Gil Feijo put in a rough tackle. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paysandu FC! The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Hierro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Esteban Colomines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paysandu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Colomines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gines Aulestia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Aldecoa FC's zone, Esteban Colomines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gines Aulestia came out of the goal and Esteban Colomines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralondo Cangas in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niolaao Lorenzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldecoa FC's Ralondo Cangas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Aldecoa FC's zone, Esteban Colomines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gines Aulestia came out of the goal and Esteban Colomines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Colomines might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gines Aulestia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Colomines ran back to his position shaking his head. Adan Hierro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Niolaao Lorenzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niolaao Lorenzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Hierro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralondo Cangas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
