Niolaao Lorenzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Peñacerrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paysandu FC's goalkeeper Niolaao Lorenzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Niolaao Lorenzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Peñacerrada's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Niolaao Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Peñacerrada in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Colomines got free with Dagoberto Aujea in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Paysandu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Peñacerrada came free, but Niolaao Lorenzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Ospetsu Fortes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paysandu FC's Niolaao Lorenzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcones Damar was the one to do the kick off. Ospetsu Fortes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Niolaao Lorenzo made a huge save. Curticeras FC's Zavior Termiñoso suffered a concussion in the 66th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Dalmai Vadillo charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmai Vadillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Paysandu FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmai Vadillo. Dagoberto Aujea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Colomines's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The Paysandu FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Paysandu FC's Marcones Damar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roger Peñacerrada charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Peñacerrada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Curticeras FC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Peñacerrada. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Esteban Colomines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paysandu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Colomines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
