After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Urritz Geli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centurion AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Urritz Geli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipo Urtueta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ximenez Azcaraso in the 9th managed to get into a good position. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Urritz Geli sped through Mataojito AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filipo Urtueta. Ximenez Azcaraso struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Filipo Urtueta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centurion AFC. After 22 minutes of play, Centurion AFC's Urritz Geli made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filipo Urtueta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filipo Urtueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urritz Geli in the 25th minute of play. Mataojito AFC's Filipo Urtueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urritz Geli in the 28th minute of play. If Ximenez Azcaraso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mataojito AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Centurion AFC were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urritz Geli to strike the kick off in the second half.
