The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peli Daque in the 18th minute of play forced Piraraja AFC's goalkeeper Aurken Bolaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Ochotorena during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Achiras! The referee gave Piraraja AFC a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leheren Calva, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Achiras's José Vítor do Valle. 1-1. Thomas Manterola took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurken Bolaño. In the 56th minute Peli Daque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurken Bolaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edson Lampez charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edson Lampez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edson Lampez hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Saverio Tejadillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match Zarando Tros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurken Bolaño skillfully saved the ball. When Thomas Manterola came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Achiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Manterola couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Piraraja AFC defense, Peli Daque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurken Bolaño. The Piraraja AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurken Bolaño should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Thomas Manterola notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Piraraja AFC's Aurken Bolaño. Aurken Bolaño was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Piraraja AFC's Aurken Bolaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Manterola in the 91st minute of play. Aurken Bolaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peli Daque in the 92nd minute of the match. Thomas Manterola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
