Rudolfo Castreciones came out of the goal and Mincho Cotero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the game, Mincho Cotero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tranqueras the free kick. Mincho Cotero kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Yader Oneca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tranqueras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yader Oneca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute of the match, Arturo Garizabal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rudolfo Castreciones saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute Colas Carbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurendi Verga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudolfo Castreciones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Garizabal in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Dagoberto Uriona collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. 23 minutes into the game, Delmiro Ayerza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tranqueras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmitas the free kick. Delmiro Ayerza kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Tranqueras getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Illan Pedulles hit a great ball. Colas Carbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Laurendi Verga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Norino Lastras came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Palmitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norino Lastras couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Tranqueras getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Illan Pedulles hit a great ball. Norino Lastras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mincho Cotero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yader Oneca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Colas Carbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77thth minute of the game Norino Lastras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tranqueras's Rudolfo Castreciones was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yader Oneca scored 1-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurendi Verga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Illan Pedulles got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The Tranqueras players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Palmitas from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
