Miguel Lemus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Martinote's Dorio Ilarraza got control of the ball when Jatsu Cediel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Kepa Noriega made a precise shot to the right of Batista Cervantes. Berruti AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Batista Cervantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kepa Noriega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Miguel Lemus came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Berruti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Lemus couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Lemus to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jatsu Cediel in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorio Ilarraza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kepa Noriega came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Martinote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kepa Noriega couldn't finish the play. Feliberto Junguito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batista Cervantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Kepa Noriega in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Batista Cervantes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Feliberto Junguito came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Martinote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Junguito couldn't finish the play. After 74 played minutes Berruti AFC got a freekick which was hit by Estevon Lardero. After recieving a nice pass, Martinote's Bonifacio Mediano tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Batista Cervantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Junguito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kepa Noriega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Cervantes having to interfere. Kepa Noriega in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Batista Cervantes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gervasio Inda charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Inda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gervasio Inda hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cordarryl Barcenas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dorio Ilarraza. Martinote's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Feliberto Junguito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Cervantes having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gau Maseda during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Berruti AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gau Maseda. Batista Cervantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isauro Melendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kepa Noriega got free with Batista Cervantes in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martinote's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
