Spectators: 7356 (Terracing: 5518, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 147) The audience was convinced that Nestor Ocaliz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Figueroa was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Ocaliz in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Figueroa saved Espartanos from getting behind. In the 7th match minute, Segarra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Grijalba to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Espartanos's Francesco Lamadrid dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 21st minute Quique Lemus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Figueroa came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Segarra's Quique Lemus. But to his dismay, Quique Lemus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francesco Lamadrid in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Verdeces saved Segarra from getting behind. After some careless play in the Espartanos defense, Timoteo Maide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Figueroa. The Espartanos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Figueroa should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Quique Lemus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quique Lemus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Figueroa having to interfere. If Nestor Ocaliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Segarra's Quique Lemus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Figueroa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Ocaliz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Ocaliz in the 54th minute of play forced Espartanos's goalkeeper Eduardo Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nestor Ocaliz came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Segarra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Ocaliz couldn't finish the play. Etxepare Devesa charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Etxepare Devesa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 65 minutes into the match, Zuberoa Platas sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Eduardo Figueroa threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Zuberoa Platas this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quique Lemus in the 66th minute of play forced Espartanos's goalkeeper Eduardo Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Espartanos's Balendin Cerredo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Lamadrid in the 70th minute of play forced Segarra's goalkeeper Amador Verdeces to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Espartanos got a freekick which was hit by Honesto Villarruel. After 74 played minutes, Segarra's Zuberoa Platas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduardo Figueroa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Segarra reached it. In the 77th minute, Nestor Ocaliz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eduardo Figueroa, passed just outside the right post. In the 84th minute Francesco Lamadrid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Verdeces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balendin Cerredo in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Verdeces prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
