The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gagriel Urtado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 14 played minutes Club Sportivo Cerrito got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Sauca. If Luke Guisado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gagriel Urtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Palacios in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Luke Guisado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gagriel Urtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Palacios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Club Sportivo Cerrito's Gagriel Urtado got control of the ball when Luke Guisado tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zayvion Uribe couldn't finish the play. Diego Palacios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Piedras FC played a much better game than Club Sportivo Cerrito and deserved their victory. The Club Sportivo Cerrito players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
