The crowd rose to their feet as Conrado Aller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ralondo Queduro. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. Richie Varsana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Ralondo Queduro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Richie Varsana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Ralondo Queduro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richie Varsana in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralondo Queduro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Peñarol's zone, Richie Varsana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralondo Queduro came out of the goal and Richie Varsana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Aller in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ralondo Queduro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Villafane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Aller in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralondo Queduro saved C.A Peñarol from getting behind. After 53 played minutes C.A Peñarol got a freekick which was hit by Ezkerra Muñoa. Ralondo Queduro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Aller's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Richie Varsana made a precise shot to the right of Ralondo Queduro. C.A Peñarol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
