Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

One of Reynold AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manga FC:s goal. After recieving a nice pass, Reynold AFC's Oscar Baca tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vermudo Gavela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolfo Saludes in the 75th minute of play. If Galtero Euque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Galtero Euque made a precise shot to the right of Vermudo Gavela. Reynold AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 97th minute, Galtero Euque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vermudo Gavela was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manga FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Reynold AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
