Gentza Tomas might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Masana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gentza Tomas ran back to his position shaking his head. Donato Saiz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Miguel Masana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Donato Saiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Miguel Masana made a huge save. Niubels's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 26th minute, Donato Saiz made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Masana. Kraken FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 32nd minute Donato Saiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Masana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Donato Saiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Masana. Kraken FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Saiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Confesor Arada to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Niubels getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gonzalo Lizarazu hit a great ball. Licerio Massey might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Masana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Licerio Massey ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 minutes, Donato Saiz made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kraken FC's Miguel Masana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Niubels's attentive Tebaldo Dosal managed to snatch the ball when Montrelle Fueyo made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. In the 70th minute Donato Saiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Masana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niubels's Bruno Regueiro got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Donato Saiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Masana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Saiz went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Tebaldo Dosal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Donato Saiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 99 minutes into the match, Niubels's Donato Saiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Masana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Niubels were the better team. Niubels's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
