Sanchez FC's Frisco Mexia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Cacho in the 24th minute of play. C.A. 25 de Agosto's Christovao Isern played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Bao in the 27th minute of play. Frisco Mexia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Cacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Sanchez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colon Herriaga to maneuver through the defense. Denis Guisasola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frisco Mexia. Sanchez FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucas Ilarza hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Cacho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christovao Isern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Bao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sanchez FC's zone, Epifanio Cacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frisco Mexia came out of the goal and Epifanio Cacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 minutes of play Sanchez FC's Lucas Ilarza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Lertxun Ubidea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Frisco Mexia firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 62nd minute, Pio Queralt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Epifanio Cacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Frisco Mexia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Pio Queralt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanchez FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pio Queralt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christovao Isern breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frisco Mexia was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Epifanio Cacho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Epifanio Cacho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. If Epifanio Cacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Epifanio Cacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frisco Mexia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
