When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Cordarrol Amezua took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Frisco Mexia to make any attempt to save it. If Mino Artolozaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frisco Mexia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mino Artolozaga in the 16th minute of the match. Frisco Mexia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cordarrol Amezua showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. In the 24th minute, Cordarrol Amezua made a precise shot to the right of Frisco Mexia. Sanchez FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some careless play in the Memento mori defense, Pio Queralt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urdin Labora. The Memento mori fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urdin Labora should have stopped the shot. But to his dismay, Arano Canado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-3 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cordarrol Amezua made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cordarrol Amezua in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frisco Mexia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frisco Mexia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lapurdi Calzada in the 54th minute of play. After 54 played minutes Sanchez FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Bao. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sanchez FC's goalkeeper Frisco Mexia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Indartsu Astudillo during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Memento mori reached it. If Lapurdi Calzada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cordarrol Amezua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frisco Mexia was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Nunez Villela was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Memento mori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Villela to maneuver through the defense. When Elequemedo Igarza came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Sanchez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elequemedo Igarza couldn't finish the play. Frisco Mexia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordarrol Amezua's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Lapurdi Calzada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 minutes of play, Memento mori's Cordarrol Amezua made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frisco Mexia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Lapurdi Calzada made a precise shot to the right of Frisco Mexia. Sanchez FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. In the 96th minute, Lapurdi Calzada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Memento mori fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-3. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Memento mori fully deserved thier win.
