Spectators: 8405 (Terracing: 6304, Seating: 1933, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Urdin Burgoa kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Paysandú FCU getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Isaac Affonso hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Paysandú FCU's goalkeeper Eneko Edeon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xepe Balcells. The throw-in from Napier Puget in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club YALE's Columbo Aldeco. 12 minutes into the match, Paysandú FCU's goal looked a bit too open when Xepe Balcells came free, but Eneko Edeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Policarpio Descalzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Xepe Balcells fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eneko Edeon, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Club YALE's zone, Urdin Burgoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odilón Guardas came out of the goal and Urdin Burgoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eneko Edeon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xepe Balcells's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Xepe Balcells left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club YALE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eneko Edeon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xepe Balcells showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. If Gombal Cañal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club YALE's Policarpio Descalzo got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 37 played minutes Paysandú FCU got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Affonso. After having played for 38 minutes, Xepe Balcells managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club YALE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xepe Balcells was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eneko Edeon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isak Trillkott in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute of the game Santxol Valcazar made a throw-in which Xepe Balcells played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muc Amandi in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Odilón Guardas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Club YALE's zone, Urdin Burgoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odilón Guardas came out of the goal and Urdin Burgoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eneko Edeon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Bentancor in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xepe Balcells stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Club YALE booed when Paysandú FCU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gombal Cañal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Isak Trillkott notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Paysandú FCU's Eneko Edeon. Eneko Edeon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Club YALE fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Club YALE's Rodrigo Bentancor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 66 minutes into the game, Club YALE's Xepe Balcells nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eneko Edeon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Gombal Cañal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Odilón Guardas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Isaac Affonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Velasquez charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Velasquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saturnino Velasquez hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Xepe Balcells made a great header on Club YALE's corner, it was just that Paysandú FCU's Eneko Edeon managed to reach the ball for a save. With his leg Odilón Guardas managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Paysandú FCU's Urdin Burgoa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 85 minutes of play, Club YALE's Xepe Balcells made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eneko Edeon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eneko Edeon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xepe Balcells went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. If Rodrigo Bentancor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club YALE had played much better football throughout.
