In the 22nd minute, Gombal Cañal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Affonso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Paysandú FCU's Eneko Edeon got control of the ball when Andrew Hallam tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Robert Nesta Marley's Diegotxe Giribet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eneko Edeon. Eneko Edeon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Paysandú FCU's Eneko Edeon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Paysandú FCU from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Xicu Parserises in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paysandú FCU's Lapurdi Cerdeño. 38 minutes into the game, Lapurdi Cerdeño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paysandú FCU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Robert Nesta Marley the free kick. Lapurdi Cerdeño hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Andrew Hallam sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eneko Edeon skillfully saved the ball. Paysandú FCU's Eneko Edeon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Paysandú FCU from getting a goal against them. Candido Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urdin Burgoa in the 44th minute of the match. Eneko Edeon made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Chepe Deleon sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Urdin Burgoa made the kick off in the second half. Eneko Edeon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chepe Deleon in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Robert Nesta Marley's Genco Sufi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eneko Edeon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Paysandú FCU's Eneko Edeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Löv in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Urdin Burgoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Henrik Löv made a precise shot to the right of Eneko Edeon. Paysandú FCU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The Robert Nesta Marley fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Robert Nesta Marley's Andrew Hallam looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 86th minute Genco Sufi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneko Edeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Löv in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eneko Edeon saved Paysandú FCU from getting behind. Eneko Edeon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chepe Deleon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Paysandú FCU's goal looked a bit too open when Chepe Deleon came free, but Eneko Edeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Genco Sufi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Robert Nesta Marley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Eneko Edeon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Löv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Nesta Marley's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
