Spectators: 7407 (Terracing: 6307, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Urdin Burgoa kicked off to start the match. Gombal Cañal struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Araoz Idiaquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paysandú FCU. In the 13th minute Urdin Burgoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Araoz Idiaquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Herena Tarrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Zilar Guillemez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneko Edeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Paysandú FCU's goal looked a bit too open when Zilar Guillemez came free, but Eneko Edeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Urdin Burgoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paysandú FCU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urdin Burgoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Illescas's Herena Tarrero got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Eneko Edeon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herena Tarrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Urdin Burgoa came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Paysandú FCU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urdin Burgoa couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Illescas's Herena Tarrero got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Araoz Idiaquez stood somewhat misplaced when Urdin Burgoa came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. In the 39th minute Iaki Valdeliso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneko Edeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Urdin Burgoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 43 minutes, Florin Valdeon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Illescas and the Paysandú FCU players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florin Valdeon kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Iaki Valdeliso hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Urdin Burgoa took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Araoz Idiaquez. Araoz Idiaquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 66th minute Herena Tarrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneko Edeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estefan Espinar took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eneko Edeon. Eneko Edeon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Illescas's Iaki Valdeliso pulled a muscle in his back after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mitxel Moyuelo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Paysandú FCU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitxel Moyuelo to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Illescas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Paysandú FCU:s goal. In the 88th match minute, Illescas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herena Tarrero to maneuver through the defense. Urdin Burgoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Affonso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Araoz Idiaquez. Illescas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
